There are many obvious and long time advertised methods of losing weight. You probably know many of them. But besides these obvious methods there are also some more subtle things you can do.

In this article we shall discuss the less obvious things that will help you to lose a maximum amount of fat. This tip that we are going to talk about will make a big difference in your fight against weight. Most of the times, this tip is missed by many dieters.

A lot of studies have shown that during calorie restriction, the persons experience diminished physical activities. This is absolutely no secret. But most of the times people are not aware of the direct correlation. The bad thing is that if you start to move less and less, the fat will not be burned out and your metabolism will go slower and slower. Even if you are tired during dieting, you must push yourself and go through the fatigue.

Staying active is what will make the difference between to 2 and 8 cm lost around the waist line. Even if your diet is low on calories and this makes you less alert and sleepy, you have to make an effort. Not exercising is the safe road to putting back all the fat you have lost during the diet. And it is a shame when that happens.

The diminished energy levels are only the way in which the body responds to the lack of calories. The body tries to survive without giving up on fat. But in order to make the body give up that fat stored up, you have to do exercises. When you exercise, the fat gets burned out as it fuels your activities. The body has no idea that you are lowering the calories level and doing exercises to stay healthy and beautiful. The body always thinks that you are in some kind of starvation danger and it must preserve itself.

But in these modern ages, when famine is not on our door steps, this physiological phenomenon is one of the biggest nightmares in a diet. But you can overcome it!

You may know by now that after reducing the calories you will rapidly lose some weight and then hit a plateau. The final stage is a swift rebound in weight. You must be careful about that. If you want real and long lasting effects than you need to do something else besides dieting. This something is the daily exercise routine. You must make a habit out of it, even if you are tired.

You will see that, in time, the body will get used to the new regime with low calories and exercise and will consider this status normal. You will not feel that tired anymore. So, just hang in there and do the best that you can. Follow a good exercise plan that fits your needs and stick to it on daily bases.

There are also people that say they have lost weight without exercises. It is true that you will lose some weight at first but you can easily add it back on. And besides that, only through exercise you will be able to shape your body just the way you want to.
